50 Cents. 1932. ICCS graded Gem Uncirculated-65. Were it not for the unfortunate fate of the 1921 mintage of 50 cents, the 1932 would hold the honour of being the scarcest of all George V half dollars, having a diminutive mintage of only 19,213 pieces. As a runner up, however, it is still a coin of remarkable scarcity, especially in uncirculated grades, let alone as a gem example such as the one offered here.

The prominent and balanced lustre takes centre stage, radiating through the iridescent pastel toning of lilac-grey, orange-gold and pale blue. Fully struck, with excellent detail throughout the obverse bust and reverse wreath. A stunning original Gem example of the official lowest-mintage George V half dollar, one of only two coins graded as such by ICCS. A rare opportunity for the astute collector.
